After our Family Service 5th September 2010

Welcome!

We hope you will enjoy looking around our website.

We are a middle of the road Church of England with a diverse range of services and a great musical tradition.

The church is located in the old part of Wivenhoe. Click here for a map.

Whether you are a Wivenhoe resident who does not generally attend church, or a visitor to the town, we would love to welcome you at our services.

Have a look here for information about service times.

...and some WebWords from the Rector

As you visit our website this Eastertide I would like to invite you to gather all your concerns, stress and sadness together, look at what makes you unhappy and view your negative feelings through the Easter lens of hope, joy and Life that focuses beyond death and despite death.

Trust that your life stretches much further than the immediate feelings of disappointment, failure, suffering and grief. Your life’s cords connect much further, even into joy and eternity.

If you appreciate this much deeper reality of your life and live from it, it will transform the way you handle the distress in your life, the sadness of a loss and all other negative experiences. From now on life will never be the same. You will always remember the shock of Easter.

Happy Easter to you, your family and friends.
